Final Report of the Steering Committee

The 55-member Steering Committee for the Consultative Process comprised of representatives from all stakeholder groups had final meetings in Cork, Ireland between 12 - 13 June, 2003 and Budapest, Hungary between 31 July - 2 August, 2003 to finalize recommendations on the IAASTD after careful consideration of the outcomes from the Regional Consulations.

The second meeting of the IAASTD Bureau approved the IAASTD Conceptual Framework (s), chapter outlines for the Global and Sub-global Assessments, budget, honoraria, selection of four regional institutes, process and selection of authors for the Global and Sub-global Assessments, and the IAASTD Time Schedule. In addition, a Finance and Fundraising Committee and a Communications and Outreach Committee for the IAASTD have been established.
